Celebration in the Oaks from November 23 – December 30

View 25 acres of the gorgeous Christmas lights in New Orleans City Park. The Park, The Botanical Garden, and Storyland and Carousel Gardens Amusement Park are covered in dazzling lights starting at 5 p.m. and going until 11 p.m. Drive through the winter wonderland and take in all the beautiful displays.  

Fa La La La Fright! A Holiday Ghost Tour on December 1 – 2

Learn about the scary ghost stories and tales of the glories of Christmases long, long ago in the French Quarter! You can admire the beautiful decorations in the Quarter as you listen to the stories of spirits for a slight twist in your regular Christmas traditions. Louisiana Christmas Day Featuring The Victory Belles on December 2, 3, 10, and 17

On December 2 at The National WWII Museum, The Victory Belles will perform a musical tour of your favorite holiday tunes from 7 – 8 p.m. Learn more here

Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra Holiday Spectacular on December 2

The Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra will perform their Holiday Spectacular at the Orpheum Theater. The doors open at 6 p.m., and the concert begins at 7:30 p.m. Get your tickets here

Gingerhouse Display on December 4

Starting  December 4, you can visit the gingerbread display from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. at the InterContinental New Orleans hotel, created by Delgado Community College culinary students. 

Lights on the Lake on December 9

Head to the Pontchartrain Conservancy for its annual Lights on the Lake display to enjoy the West End Christmas Boat Parade from 5 – 8 p.m. The community will also celebrate with delicious food, performances from local choirs, and holiday activities for children. 

The Magic of Christmas With The Tim Laughlin Trio on December 10

See The Tim Laughlin Trio, featuring Yolanda Robinson, perform The Magic of Christmas at the Historic BK House and Gardens on December 10 from 5:30 – 8:00 p.m. 

Holiday Home Tour on December 17

Go to The Cabildo in Jackson Square to start the French Quarter Holiday Home Tour from 12 – 4 p.m. The historic beauty of the French Quarter is a perfect way to celebrate the holidays and get into the festive spirit.
